LORD BKNY

Christian is a California native who moved to New York to attend Cooper Union and Columbia University where he studied painting, drawing and art history. Upon graduating Lord exhibited nationally and internationally until he transitioned full time to tattooing after it became his artistic passion. Drawing upon his skills in the fine arts, he brings an art historical bent to his tattoo work by creating unique tattoos tailored to his clients’ individual personalities.  He founded LORD BKNY in 2018 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn as a departure from the traditional machismo of tattoo shops–a place where a diverse group of tattooists and clients could create a new tattoo community.
